Even as I conjured this intro up in my head, I couldn’t help but grin. Let’s do this together deardarlings.

Imagine… just imagine You’re so important and powerful. You needn’t imagine for so long and I most wouldn’t knowing they’re important, powerful and lot more, lol.

Back to the imagination frequency, you had to travel out to a planet, which has human as its occupant. Imagine you met a spectacular young chap that wowed you in such a way that you gave an invite and all paid expense trip to your planet.

At the designed time, the chap came, arrived at the designated place but was met with beautiful wall and a gate that opens on touch.
Being from another planet that allows access a building via touching any part of the wall.
As the expected, the chap touched a section of wall and expected it to open but when it didn’t give way, he tried over and over and even had to push, yet nothing happened. We all know that nothing will happen no matter hard he pushes except someone comes around to redirect him or a miracle happens.
The gate…the door would have saved him the stress.

The door tagged REPENTANCE and CONVERSION.

So many people all around the world are like the young chap, they see, hear and read testimonies about the goodness of God, they want to belong to the  glorious canopy. They go ahead to do various things to enter.
Yet most don’t.
They can’t get through because they don’t know the door.
They throw in the towel, get defensive about the negatives in their lives, struggles and their sins after all they tried, it was Okay for a period, even for a season but they went back to zero point and it all became worst.

Acts 3:19 KJV

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

For sins to be blotted out, such an individual has to go through the door of REPENTANCE AND CONVERSION.

How do you feel when a baby stretches his or her arms towards you?
Even if you had no intention to carry the child afore time, you will at the gesture, isn’t it?

With that scenario in mind, Repentance is the child stretching both arms.

Conversion is you acknowledging those arms and lifting that child from its formal level or position.

Repentance is the actual action the sinner carries out reaching out to God.

Conversion is the actual action God carries out in the life of the sinner.

What does it mean to repent –
1. Remorse – A feeling of regret or sadness for doing wrong.
-Acknowledge and accept that you’re a sinner. Eg A man who has lost two brothers to Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS who still enjoy smoking at least a pack of cigarette daily and having unprotected sex might not change until he realise what he is doing is inappropriate and has consequences.

Romans 3:23 says “For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”

Romans 6:23 says “For the wages of sin is death;…”

2. Confess the sins.
1 John 1:9 KJV

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

3. Believe that Jesus died for you and is able to cleanse you till you’re pure within and without. Believe that God loves you.

4.Invite Jesus into your life. Remember his blood was shed for remission of sins. That can be achieve via unwavering faith.

Revelation 3:20 KJV

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Matthew 18:3 KJV

And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Conversion means that God has

-blotted out the sins from the heavenly record.
-blotted the sins from the heart.
-blotted the sins away from the memory of those that knew you afore time.

It also means Your name is now written in the book of life and all benefits inclusive! That’s after praying in respect to the above. I pray the grace of the Lord will be sufficient for you.

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
-Luke 15:7

2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
